Aksoy Villa – A Timeless Transformation in Çeşme

At İmerek Yapı, we continue to transform aging buildings in Çeşme that have lost their functionality into modern, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable living spaces. One of our most recent projects undertaken in this vein is Aksoy Villa, which belongs to the Aksoy family, was unfortunately completely abandoned and neglected prior to the renovation.

Current Issues and the Analysis Process
During the technical inspections we conducted before beginning the renovation work, we identified serious issues with the building, both architecturally and structurally. Due to unevenness at garden level, rainwater was seeping into the building and threatening its structural integrity. As a result, plaster and paint were blistering, particularly in the basement, due to high humidity. Additionally, the garden area had become overrun with weeds, and the existing portable pool had become completely unusable and was left abandoned.

Faced with this challenging situation, we met with the Aksoy family, the property owners, and explained to them the extensive renovations we planned to carry out at the villa, along with our proposed solutions. The family entrusted the project to us with complete confidence, and we quickly got to work to ensure we did not let them down.

Comprehensive Work and Infrastructure Solutions Carried Out at the Aksoy Villa

As part of the project, we not only revitalized the building’s aesthetic appearance but also resolved its chronic infrastructure issues at their root. A summary of the work we carried out in this regard is as follows:

• Infrastructure and Drainage Solutions: To prevent rainwater from entering the building, a comprehensive rainwater drainage system was installed prior to the landscaping work. The garden soil was then completely leveled to eliminate any elevation differences.
• Reinforced Concrete Pool and Sunbathing Area: The old, unusable portable pool was dismantled and completely removed from the site. In its place, a durable reinforced concrete pool measuring 4×8 meters and built to modern standards was constructed. The sunbathing area surrounding the pool was covered with durable and stylish composite decking material.
• Landscaping and Garden Design: An automatic irrigation system was installed in the cleaned and landscaped garden, and the entire area was landscaped with sod. Modern lighting fixtures were installed to enhance the garden’s nighttime aesthetics and security.
• Interior and Exterior Renovation: All necessary repairs were made both inside and on the exterior of the villa, and high-quality painting was applied. In addition, the old door was replaced with a modern steel door to enhance the building’s security and aesthetics.

A Happy Ending and a Look to the Future
As can be clearly seen in the before-and-after photos of the project, we essentially rebuilt the Aksoy Villa, giving it a modern look. The flawless result has left both us and the Aksoy family thoroughly satisfied.
